Ancient City of Goreme
In general, whole Goreme is referred to be an ancient city. There is a church (El Nazar Church) carved into the fairy chimney formed by the eruption of Mount Erciyes in the 3rd century. It also hosts Sakli Church, Tokali Church, Goreme Church, Elmali, Church, Yilanli Church, Dark Church, etc. Goreme Open Air Museum, one of the most famous open air museums in Cappadocia, is also located here.
