Ancient City of Myra
City of Myra is located in the district of Kale in Antalya and this city is famous for its rock tombs. It is also the city where St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, was born. Rock tombs, coins and inscriptions are among the evidences showing that this city dates back to the 5th century BC. It also hosts libraries and relief tombs. The Ancient City of Myra is of great importance for Christians as it is the city which was visited by St.Paul and his friends.
