Mount Nemrut
Located in the city of Adiyaman, 2150-meter-high Mount Nemrut is one of the 8 wonders of the world. UNESCO included this mountain in Turkey in the World Heritage List in 1987. Mount Nemrut attracts the attention of the whole world with its magnificent and fascinating look. In 62 BC, Antiochus Theos, the King of Commagene, erected his statue, as well as the statues of Greek and Persian deities.
