Divrigi Great Mosque and Hospital
The mosque, built by Ahmed Shah, the Bey of Mengujekids, in 1228-1229, and the hospital, built by Turan Melek, Ahmed Shah's wife, in the same year, were included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1985. The most important feature of this mosque is that a standing man silhouette appears on the gate when the afternoon sun hits.
