Ruins from Catalhoyuk
A settlement located in the district of Cumra of Konya and dating back to Neolithic and Chalcolithic age, Catalhoyuk is one of the oldest settlements in the world. It also left mark in the history as the first agricultural community. The ruins in Catalhoyuk, a unique settlement with its adjacent houses with common walls, wall paintings in the houses and burial traditions, were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2012.
